Heavily armed and armoured the Tartar is built to carry a Combined Arms Nova into battle the Tartar was built for Clan Hell's Horses formations and deployments, allowing them to move away from having to refit individual DropShips as and when needed, a process that was slow, laborious and resource intensive. Although rarely seen outside the Horses Touman the Tartar earned a fine reputation as a heavy transport as well as a very dangerous target to approach if trying to attack them.
