The Impavido (Fearless in English) class was the first WarShip developed by the Free Worlds League and was developed in part with assistance from the Word of Blake and the Capellan Confederation. Designed to be an attack ship the Impavido is exceptionally fast and well armed, as well as flexible. Carrying two dropships (which can be seen here entering a planets upper atmosphere) as well as 18 fighters. This is quite different from SLDF era destroyers who tended to be well armed but lacked support craft.

The original art for the Impy wasn't that great - cfw.sarna.net/wiki/images/a/ab… a box with a cucumber sticking out of the front, that does not give any indication of her speed or power. A fast ship should look fast. And once again Plog hit the nail on the head
