Description
As a companion piece to my fan-art of Spasma , here is an fan-art of Krunk, Snapdragon's Headmaster, from the fourth and final season of The Transformers, known as "The Rebirth". He was voiced by the late-great Chris Latta (who also was the voice of Starscream, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Wheeljack, Defensor and many others), who was planned to be the voice of Skullcruncher that same season but for an unknown reason, did not voice the character at all, causing Skullcruncher to be a mute (not counting a scene where Skullcruncher spoke with Grax's voice, either that or Grax spoke through Skullcruncher). In the French dub of the show's fourth and final season, his name is "Kronk", which is also the name of the character from The Emperor's New Groove.

An Nebulon from the planet of Nebulos, he allied with Lord Zarak's evil Nebulons known as the Hive and was binary-bonded to the Decepticon Horrorcon Snapdragon, and could either form the latter's head or be the pilot of Snapdragon's fighter jet mode. Like with Spasma, both his toys and the commercial promoting the Headmaster Horrorcons show him also forming the beast mode head as well, even though he is not shown to do this in "The Rebirth" as Snapdragon's beast mode still had his beast mode head.

In the Marvel Comics continuity, he was an flesh-and-blood Nebulon, but the American G1 cartoon continuity presented him as an robotic Nebulon like the rest of the Hive-allied Nebulans (save for Grax and Lord Zarak).

In the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity however, he does not exist as a separate entity from Snapdragon, and so if Snapdragon does not become the head of his Transtector, his head unit would be called "Krunk".
