Description
The final version of BBC Alba's mechanical clock model was introduced at the same time BBC Alba revamped their globe for English-language programmes in September 1981. Like the globe, it was only used during the English-language opt-in (even if the last programme was in English to the point this would be used instead at closedown).
Like with the BBC Wales mechanical clock, it lasted until 1985 when it was finally replaced with a computerised clock (which was first-only used during BBC Alba's English-language opt-in)
