Description A holster I made for a local airsoftshop. Not the most detailed piece of leather but still pretty functional

THE GUN FEATURED IN THIS PICTURE IS A AIRSOFTPISTOL! NO REAL FIREARMS FEATURED IN MY GALLERY!

How do you harden and mild the holster?

I would have to say that this is a pretty nice fantasy holster, although I would include a sight channel so that the front sight doesn't scrape the inside of the holster, and the lobe is going to make it very tough to get a full combat grip on the pistol.

By the way, why do you feel it necessary to state that the firearms in your gallery are not real? Just curious.

I rarely make "sightrails" on my holsters, I usually make a tiltet tip on the holsters cut slightly angeled adding a real nice serpa-effect, and if the top of the holser is left unhardened the gun slides out real smooth

The lobe? If you are reffering to the round part on the bottom of the holster an how its close to the pistolgrip I can declare that I was worried it would present a problem gripping it propperly aswell but as it turned out I was able to mold the leather enough to have the gun itself stand out enough from the hip and belt so that there was no problem

: Cause I have experienced that clients (none of mine though, I hope much thanks to the extreme declarations) at times get uncomfortable around people who own/use/exploit real firearms. I don't really know how people see it in the States but I can imagine (with the somewhat more chillaxed gunlaws in most states) that people are more use to seing or hearing about guns and gunowners. Around here, whenever someone sees a gun or hears about a gun you usually insta refer to either A): Crimes. B): Stereotype GunNut to stay away from. C): Lastcase Hunter.

And as you rarely use either a G17, M9 or any other handgun, I'm affraid to be filed as either a A or a B

And NO ONE buys from an A OR B son!!!

Ahhh, that's right--I forgot that you aren't in the USA. Yes, in the state I live in (Arizona) we can own and carry any firearm, openly or concealed, without any sort of permit or registration. People are very accustomed to seeing people carrying guns. That said, I am originally from a different state (Illinois) which has laws against carrying guns at all, and laws restricting what kinds of guns you can own, so I know what you mean about people having those three feelings about people who carry guns.

Yeah imagine here where to own even one gun you have to get a huntinglicense and a gunowners license to legally operaate and own a gun, and a securitysafe to store it in when not hunting. To get a pistol/rifle NOT suited for hunting is WAY more difficult even=/ Not something I'm unhappy with of course, but It does pose a problem when involved in airsoft and other related hobbies

All this being said, have you considered how many owners of actual firearms would like to have a custom holster like this? From what I've seen here, you could make a killing (pun intended).
