I also really really like the back, it turned out lovely!

That back was the hardest part for some reason. Thank you!

I feel her back is somehow really iconic, I feel. Sometimes even more so than her front.

I had to create the basic anatomy, lay the clothing down, then trim until only the barest sense of anatomy was there. Β Cartoon characters, for all of their simpler shapes are often harder to do because the basic shapes must be dead on. Unless you've been asked to modify them, as in Roxanne. I did that mainly for the writer of the movie who wanted her just a couple of years older in age.

It's an interesting challenge though, I suppose; keeping the recognisable shapes while still changing them up

Having a hell of a time getting the body and hips right in my latest. Had to take a break and think about it until just today.

I get that too at times, I'm imagining though that it's MUCH easier to discard and start over with a tiny sculpt than with a big one where you put in days instead of hours

I tend to keep at something until it feels right from all angles. I'm not under time constraints.

Thanks! Actually simple characters can be harder than a really detailed character, because they have to be dead on model.

True. But you succeeded beautifully.

Wow, how did you make tail? With wire inside? It looks perfect

Absolutely! Steel piano wire to keep it thin and strong.

Actually that was the hardest part, in that I couldn't go too far! It had to be "on model".
