Imagine my surprise when a few days ago asked for an art trade! I was stunned for a moment, since I've been a fan of his work for a while... to be seen as a peer is an honor!I'm still geeked, actually, so no long-winded post while I regain my composure.
Anyway, the hard part was not only capturing his style while making it my own... I wanted to do a sequence, but that seemed a little lacking, so I threw in a little self-indulgence featuring the apply within crew at the end... sorry 'bout that

Nice work. The art style is definatly based on robiotics work but is less cartoony and more anime. I am a fan of robiotics work and now I am a fan of yours.

Very nice work. The sequence was superb! Even the little details of the hair washing from brown to blonde. Keep it up I look forward to your next peice.

err, about that hair... I kind of cheated >< Basically, I try not to use much photoshoppery, but I couldn't get the hair just right, so I used a circle gradient, then pulled it into a separate document and index colored it down to around 5 and did a copy-paste T.T
Not proud of that, but I too like the result
