My entry for 's contest! I hope you like it, despite the fact that it was a bit rushed.

Would you believe that I started drawing it before I fully fleshed out the dialog? I guess it's a little obvious... oh well, worst case scenario I made myself laugh!

Here's the rough draft I though of while trying to flesh it out:

Panel 1 - Hey Ell, do you have a spare plot device I can borrow?

Panel 2 - Dude, free booze!

Panel 3 - No label... oh well, an alcoholic doesn't look a gift horse in the mouth... he drinks free liquor!

...and the strip went on as is. I have a bad habit of writing the ending of stories then working backwards. You can see why that draft didn't make the cut.

As for the entry itself, I doubt it'll go well, as I've probably barely met the PG-13 requirement, and it's awfully cliché XD The main character is actually a stand-in in a series of 3 panel strips I used to do in high school. He doesn't have a name, but I call him Hedgehog Guy cause his hair looks like a giant hedgehog is sleeping on his head. Bet you didn't see THAT connection!
