A-hem, yes, please forgive the title (KID-napped...?) I like puns: the worse the better

TG sequence featuring 's KID.

Ah, no matter what I write it's going to be awkward as usual, so here we go: Well, I got a request from to draw a TG sequence featuring KID, and I was kinda taken back. I figured it would be uncouth to deny my first request... I mean one its a big compliment, and two its my first...!

Not that I really had any reason not to. The biggest deterrent was time! Right now, ignoring my job, I'm going to two World of Darkness games, on tuesday and saturday nights (all-supplement and changeling-only respectively for any WoD fans) and running my own Fourth Edition DnD campaign on sundays, and the rest of my week is pretty much preparing for said DnD campaign.

In addition, I must plug my webcomic . Time constraints also prevent me from updating it as often as I'd like All of this together also keeps me from drawing stuff I'd like to, such as a Poisoned version of Shay I'm trying to figure out how to execute well.

Other than that, my other deterrent was a silly one: I don't really like drawing other peoples characters, cause the end result is a travesty .

It makes me nervous because I have a difficult time replicating other people's styles, especially if its either much more elaborate (no way!) or much more simplistic: either way, it just comes out looking like my own work and more of a tribute. Which I guess is kind of good in a way. My second issue is that I feel... "invasive". Like, I don't like putting words in the mouths of characters who aren't mine It feels awkward. It took a lot of guts for me to submit that Gonad fanart .

Now though I feel like I've hit a slippery slope. Is it too arrogant to think that I might get more requests? Forgive me for being presumptuous, but lets say that may happen: right now, I've pretty much put myself open. On the other hand, I could deny the requests and be a jerk. Now, you could argue that its understandable, I DO have a life, but then again, I'm not very good. It's not as if I'm producing masterpieces here, so its easy to assume that a request is no biggie.

Hrm, I feel as though as I type this collective opinion of me is dropping That's self-esteem issues at work :3 Persevere...! At any rate, I guess what I'm trying to say is, go easy on me T.T And forgive how pathetic I am XD
