It's been a while since I've done something like this, eh?I've been wanting to do another poisoned picture, especially of shay, and decided to try and get back to the drawing board with a warm up that took a lot longer than I figured. That's what you get for choosing art as your activity to help you get to sleep.
Other than my usual suite of problems, this one was particularly nasty due to my choice of hair. Shading all of that hair was a nightmare! But as a fan of long hair, its a labor of love. That I hate.
I'd love to write more, but I'm so tired T.T I need to set up some kind of backstory to better set up my Poisoned gimmick, maybe I'll dream up a good one... I need a good excuse to continue to draw female drow versions of characters >.>

well, the drow poison is actually drow blood (or any bodily fluid, but usually blood or... those used during intercourse) that is infused with the soul of the last living drow, Laxia. Though drow would easily distribute blood knowing it will be used to increase their ranks, they would first intend to poison those who would try and take that blood: if they're not drow already, of course. Female drow though... poisoned drow possess many of Laxia's traits, one of them the iron-clad belief females are superior to males in every aspect.

What would happen to a vampire as myself?

It would depend on the interpretation of a vampire.
However, it all boils down to whether the vampire possesses a soul or not. If the answer is yes, the vampire's body takes the form of a drow vampire. Because a human vampire's skin whitens due to a lack of blood, a drow vampire is nearly indistinguishable on account of their dark skin.
Like any poisoned creature, a vampire drow is going to attempt to poison as many drow as possible, without turning them into vampires as well (only pure drow should exist. a vampire drow would inherently be at the bottom of the social ladder, on the same rung as males)
For kaelriyu vampires, they do indeed have souls, but their vessel has expired. In order to stave off age and ultimately decay, they must sustain their vitality by draining the vitality from living creatures. In order to do so, they consume its blood.
I should note though that drow poison is curable, but requires potent soul magic (used by kaelriyu shaman class characters)

I don't have a soul... and my vampric abilities work on different scale. If bite someone that happens to be male, they become female in the process.

Low the drow pics, Shay. I can try my hand at coming up with an interesting backstory for these if it will inspire you to draw more of them.

The trouble with these is that I don't have a whole lot of characters of mine left that are up on here to poison XD My sketchbooks are filled with characters of mine, but on DA only a few are present, and worse yet none of their stories told, or at least summerized... I suppose that didn't stop me from my first one though
