Traditional mixed-media drawing of some Tulip flowers. I received my new Polychromos, & gave them a try with this drawing. These pencils aren't too bad. ... ...ok, that was an understatement. These pencils are so amazing!! Anyway, this whole color thing is still very new to me, & I haven't got the hang of blending or choosing the right ones yet. It's nowhere near perfect, but this drawing turned out better than I was expecting...
Tools: Strathmore Smooth Bristol Paper (drawing size: 4.5x7in.) Faber-Castell Polychromos Color Pencils, Prismacolor pencil, marker, kneaded eraser & Tombow Mono Zero eraser.
Time: 8.5 hours.
