OH MY GOODNESS IT'S FINALLY FINISHED.Inspired by this page of Today Nothing Happened , I finally went and did it. I made a D&D party.... for grammar (with party members based ever-so-slightly on actual friends).
I'm stupidly proud of all the little details in this! And it was way too much fun thinking up everyone's abilities -- got some help from ~actoratheart for a few of them. I'll admit, I've wanted to do an illustration like this for SOME TIME.
Hoping to have prints of this at Otakon, and after that they'll be available online! I'll update with links when it's official. c:

This is fantastic in so many ways! The poses are fantastic (though the Wizard has a bit of a stabbed-in-the-back look...?), the colouring is wonderful, and the detailed concepts are just great.
I'm not highly knowledgeable about D&D, but... Would a scout maybe be like a bookworm? Fast reading, recall quotation...?

Definitely a Chaotic Literate Artificer of Puns! Unfortunately, I need to work on the skill/gear list...
Create Plot Device: Gets you out of otherwise deadly situations! And when it doesn't, conveniently digs grave sized holes!
Earmuffs of Deafness +4: To be handed out to party members. You have been warned.
Rear Guard Armor Reinforcement: +10 to defense rolls on attacks to the back, and immunity to backstabs. For those foolish enough to disregard the warning to hand out Earmuffs of Protection.
...on that note, be happy the Blackguard of Puns has standards. At least he's -Lawful-.

EVENTUALLY! It'll most likely be in my shop in August, along with the new books! Mostly it's hard to run orders and get them out in a timely manner when I'm also cramming and ordering for cons, so all online things will be available a week or two after cons are finished.
