Description
The C1.5 Advanced Battle Clone was modeled after the B1.5 Advanced Battle Droid and designed to serve in special commando units like Battle Clone Marines, Advanced Battle Clone Recon, early Battle Clone Commandos and similar roles. They had enhanced cybernetics that allowed them to analyze faster with their senses, as well as to reackt much quicker then regular C1 Battle Clones ever could and also had an improved and much thicker armor then them. Because of that they served on fortified bunker and top-security buildings as well as ships of the Confederacy of Independent Systems whenever possible. They also had a much better programmed sense for tactics and strategies, more information stored on the cybernetic part of their brain, especial regarding places they were meant to protect, sabotage or capture and were overall a much more formidable foe to the Clone Troopers, Republic Troopers and later Imperial Troopers and Stormtroopers alike. Because their vital inner organs in the torso and their brains were better protected, they also had a much higher rate of survival, bacta healing and cybernetic replacements then regular C1 Battle Clones. While it was possible that C1 Battle Clones who had served and survived long enough to become C1 Battle Clone Officers and C1 Battle Clone Commanders were rewarded an upgrade into Advanced Battle Clones, they were more often created as C 1.5 or Advanced Battle Clones (ABC) outright as doing so was much more efficient, much more costly and often gave them much more initiative and individuality then most members of the more hive-minded species used for C1 Battle Clones. The only exception to this rule were members of such species who had served as officers and commanders in the Separatist Alliance before and whose gene samples and probes had been the template for a new elite batch of C1.5 Battle Clones because of that. Because they often looked much more like regular C1 Battle Clones then B1.5 Advanced Battle Droid did to regular B1 Battle Droids overall it was not uncommon for Confederate Army and Confederate Nacy forces to put a few C1.5 Advanced Battle Clones into a mix with regular C1 Battle Clones, either as their commanding officers or commanders, or to be elite forces in between to surprise, overwhelm or out-skill opponents and enemies who just assumed C1 Battle Clones to be against them.

At the same time C1.5 Advanced Battle Clones were also used as medium and superior infantry forces to take special enemy positions, buildings or even capture certain admirals, generals and rarely even Jedi Commanders if possible. Not only that, C1.5 Advanced Battle Clones were also regularly given much more advanced, heavy and especially more rapid-firing blasters and other heavy weaponry compared to regular C1 Battle Clones, which only increased the danger and threat they posed to the enemies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems overall. The fact that they were as capable as Advanced Recon Commandos or ARC Troopers, Clone Marines or Imperial Dark Troopers alike showed how efficient the C1.5 Advanced Battle Clones were and even some Jedi Commanders soon learned to fear them, as C1.5 ABC were smart and skilled enough to distract them with blaster shots and then rolled or trowed grenades as well as shoot them and rockets against the Jedi to assure they would go down despite their skills and light-sabers. At the same time they would often use surprise by hiding among regular C1 Battle Clones, or be quick in their ambushes and assaults to overwhelm unprepared defenders whenever possible. At the same time their enemies quickly learned to distinguish their slightly different, heavier armor from that of regular C1 Battle Clones and started to prioritize on C1.5 Advanced Battle Clones Thanks to their advanced armor some skilled C1.5 Advanced Battle Clones would even use grenades and other explosives even rather close to themselves, as they knew their armor could withstand much more then most of their enemies, which was something they soon learned to deploy to their advantage. However those opposing them soon learned as well, implementing heavy rapid-fire blasters, grenades and ray-shields against them to slow down their advances, mobility, or hold them in place until they were killed off, whenever they were possible of doing so.
