Description CT-1008 was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic. Around 20 BBY, he served under Jedi General Plo Koon during the battle of Phorose. Images of the battle taken from his clone-cam were used by journalist Endaw N'gard'm while writing his report. Later during the Clone Wars he was hit by a Defoliator Deployment Tank and heavily burned and injured, disfiguring his face and other parts of his body. This disfigurements lead to him becoming more and more distant from his fellow Clone Brothers, as he had lost the face that connected him with them, in a way it was like he had finally got a little more individuality for himself by earning a face of his own, even if a disfigured one. This psychological changes and the pain and damage done by the blast itself severely changed CT-1008 and the Clone himself aimed to become a leading member among his brothers. At the same time CT-1008 was suspect to many of his Clone Brothers as his wish to never remove his helmet lead to some controversial and mistrust, some Clones even suspecting him to be no Clone at all, or even a non-human alien. Either way CT-1008 and his fellow Clone Brother grew apart from one another and when the inhibitor chips were removed CT-1008 used his chance to leave the Slave Army, the Grand Army of the Republic to join Count Dooku and the Confederacy of Independent Systems alongside a few other Clones, thanks to his intelligence, ambitions and skills CT-1008 soon became a leader of his own small Clone group and chose the name Clone Commander as his individual name, both to show he felt superior to this individual, more alike clones and at the same time to keep a connections to his Clone Brothers he felt so alienated and distanced with himself. With a few editions to his original Clome armor to give it a more individual look and a few updates with Separatism Droid visors and scanner technology. He also choose a blaster pistol that could also stun as his prime weapon, as well as a sword made out of Phrik to even counter lightsabers if the need would arrive.

Soon despite him never showing his face and some Clones suspecting a non-clone, a non-human alien, or even a new type of tactical droid or biodroid underneath his mask and armor, Clone Commander soon rose to the ranks of a respected Separatist Leader in their lower ground forces ranks, leading groups of Clones against the Galactic Republic to free the fellow Clone Brothers and all worlds and systems enslaved by the more and more tyrannical Supreme Chancellor and Galactic Senate. Interested in him, Count Dooku supported the Clone Commander to see where individual Clones could end up if being given free reign and proper resources, partly to have more information for his very own force-sensitive clone plans and programs in the future. With this support Clone Commander could win a few skirmishes and battles that were gladly used by the Separatist Propaganda to show how much better and more skilled even Clones could get as individuals if they served themselves and others freely under the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, instead of the Galactic Republic or the Galactic Empire. Parts of this meant that the Confederacy hoped to get more Clone Wars Veteran Clones to join them and help form the Separatist Clone Army/ Armies or train them and local sector and planetary organic forces. Another wish was to find more potential leaders among those regular clones that had joined the Separatist side. After all unlike many organic forces, Clones had been grown and trained to be nearly identical, even if some received special training and equipment, meaning most of them could possibly rise to a leading or commanding position, unlike most overall organic forces. In most of his battles, Clone Commander tried best to avoid Clone causalities on both sides, while directly targeting Jedi Commanders and other organic Republic leaders he felt helped the Republic to enslave his fellow Clone Brother. At the same time Clone Commander with the help of Separatist Conglomerates formed his own ideology and group, Clone Command were his fellow Clone brothers served as soldiers as his own Separatist Clone Army, after the Clone Wars they would even settle their own world, Clonea, were Clone Command and Clone Commander would lead a militarist junta as the local seperatist government.
