I've been taking a class every Saturday for the past couple of weeks. It's an oil painting. My first one!
I think it turned out quite well, considering. It's a lot easier than acryllics or water colors. So, I'm hoping to do more oil paintings in the future once I get more time. Hooray, I can't think of any more comments to make here.Just a note. I hate painting trees. Thank you.

I draw my trees first, and then the rest comes later. Hmmm, that mountain must be at least 1 km high

Really? You do your trees first? That can be dangerous, I've learned that it's usually a better idea to paint the forground last and work your way from the back of the painting forward. Because if you paint the forground first, then you have to paint around it. I dunno. It's just easier and looks better if you do it the other way around. Though, if your trees ARE the background, then by all means, paint those first.
