I... I'm not really sure to be honest. I was bored. My German teacher took away my book for reading during class. So during math when I was bored again, the person across from me brought some of her drawings. Then it hit me.

I haven't been doing any good drawings lately!

Seriously. I've been trying on the Ghost Stories; A Traveler's Log, yes, but they aren't full pictures. Not yet, anyway. I haven't been doing any stuff that makes people go "Holy Cow, you're good" Except for the general anatomy of people, which still isn't exactly the best.

So, I decided to steal one of her reference pics that she had lying in one of her folders of the sky. She hadn't actually drawn the pic, but just had it there in case she decided to draw it. I worked on it through the rest of the day until it was done (Math class is near the end of the school day for me) and here I have it completed.

It's actually pretty good. I got done with it and turned to Daricio saying, "Did I seriously just draw this?" DVD says that the trees in front look like cattle or wagons crossing the plains or something like that. I have to disagree.

The clouds were a pain trying to differentiate them from the trees. I finally took a blending stick to the clouds while leaving the trees sketchy to make them different.

This is a good example of a drawing done completely without real defined lines. I didn't even sketch the shapes of them before shading, I just shaded. Yay! Success!
