Description
I gave it much thought and it seems I would benefit from this branching. We all would, hopefully. I'm not as powerful and strong to continue big projects at a snap of a whip, I gotta try and step-by-step it. It's too often that I need to go back to basics. Why not give it more love. I'll probably call it TAI (it's not entirely correct but sounds niceAnd first of all, yes, it's a big nod to the great classic Myst/Riven. And it's for a reason.
It takes me back to the days of childhood when I got familiar with these games. I wasn't obsessed with these but I love them and they left a serious imprint in my heart.
The character Atrus... The Creator. He is a very inspiring idol. A praise to intelligence, imagination and wisdom. A source, a process and a preservation. No matter the area, these are the basics of any art.
Back then I got the seed of creation in me. I was just doodling in MS Paint of Win 3.1 and 98. I was dreaming of creating my own games. Where you could look around, see all the details, move. Where all the world would be created with everything that I know. It didn't go too far and I just had to pick a more narrow path in my life. Can't sit on 12 chairs at once, right?
So programming remains in my dreams. Maybe in the next life. I'd love to do that and I could but... time, time is everything. Not hard to do, hard to choose. Although I was good at programming, as little as I did. Solving mathematical and logical problems to make things work my way was so much fun. Early Java Script and then Flash/Action Script. Childish, I know.
Anyway, I won't describe that project here, I'll do it as I add pages to it. How would I put it in general?... It's a bit of backstage. The cogs and separate details of imagination. Ingredients that make the final product. What I once dreamed I would be able to do... and now, put the flaws and never-ending growth aside, I'm actually able to.
"Some may call this junk. Me, I call them treasures"
I hope this side project would inspire someone. It will probably have no end, it's just on the same path as everything else that I draw. We'll see. I'm curious myself.

I took one look at that last panel, and instantly had Myst flashbacks. Imagine my surprise when I read that I was spot on in the description! XD
The Myst and Riven games really captured my imagination too as a kid. Even if the puzzles stumped the heck out of me.
But then I did reading into the lore of the game, and read some of the books around Atrus and the D'ni..... and the whole concept of the linking books just really set my imagination on fire.

Hehe, these adult puzzles were teasing kids, indeed. All you had to do was sit down, relax and carefully find clues one by one. But for a child it's "Ohmygosh! I can rotate a whole island! I wanna play with it all day long!" XD Yeah, I was like that when I first set my foot onto Myst. I would try to pick the puzzles not understanding it would take a million years like that. Luckily I would get bored in only a few hours and beg my dad to pass it for me

I wouldn't call it childish. Not at all. I'm in the same tight spot time-wise and I can so relate ;/

Having only skimmed the first game, I feel like this is a reference to Myst.

Great drawings! I like Eri as an alchemist. Has a nice ring to it as well.

Alchemy : the science of understanding, deconstructing, and reconstructing matter. However, it is not an all-powerful art. It is impossible to create something out of nothing. If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the law of equivalent exchange; the basis of all alchemy. In accordance to this law, there is a taboo among alchemists. Human transmutation is strictly forbidden. For what could equal the value of a human an equine soul?

"At the time, we believed it to be the true way of the world."
I love the show for these deep adult principles. But I don't like how fast it loses sense and turns into illogical action. It's also needlessly violent. Impressive for immature minds. TAI is not about that though.

Ah, but you quote FMA 03, not brotherhood, which actually sticks to those ideals and principles that are set at the beginning.
There's the Good Fullmetal Alchemist ,
And then there's the Masterpiece that is Brotherhood . You don't get to be the highest rated anime of all time for eight years without reason.

I might try Brotherhood. I watched first season long-long time ago. Then I tried to re-watch it a few years ago and I couldn't finish it. It was too boring to me with my new experience. It has many interesting moment though. Much food for thought.

That's fair, you have to really like FMA 03 to rewatch it. The 12 episodes after episode 1 of Brotherhood retread ground covered in the original, while everything after is completely different. It's worth your time.

I suck at big projects, the longer I have ever been able to *keep-up* is probably like 5-6 comics pages......after that my brain just stop working and it auto reset...... jezz -___-
