AAAAND IT'S FINISHED HALLELUJAH
So much blood, sweat and tears spent on this (ok maybe not tears) but ya get it right? XDD

This marks the end of my first 'official' comic featuring a protagonist that I plan to reintroduce many more times in the future. Hopefully, I can come up with an even better look because this one was based on an older design and I'm frankly tired of redrawing her in plain clothes >_> For now this is more of a character 'introduction'. To give a bit more backstory, she was raised by her single father because her mom was declared too mentally unstable.

Story-wise, this is based off my yearly family tradition of visiting my grandparents at the cemetery during spring. What you see in the comic is pretty much how we weed out the old and bad plants and replace them with new ones. I left out a lot of details and I believe that there are also some slight discontinuities here and there, such as random flowers appearing out of nowhere lol. To be honest, it was a detail that I didn't think through during my initial planning.

The challenging part in making this is actually keeping up the consistency in the details. Funnily enough, my preference is not hyper-detailed artworks, yet this is what I've attempted doing ._. I guess it's partly due to me trying to understand the structure of what I was painting, then consequently getting losing the whole picture. I actually had to lay off rendering the details because I was getting close to my set deadline, plus my arm was starting to hurt. I learned a lot and I can more or less say with confidence that I can decently render leaves while my flowers look half-assed as shet XD Here's to looking forward to what new stuff I will learn. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Lastly, I want to thank the readers who have stuck through the unfolding of the comic, those who have left very kind and encouraging comments, which gave me the will to continue, my real-life friends who gave me positive feedback and expressed their enjoyment despite my doubtfulness (you know who you are ), the deviants who added this to their collection and those who have shared and/or showed this to someone else No matter how big or small the audience, I know that even the littlest number of people can drive me to create something enjoyable.

Thank you once again, I hope that you will stick around to my next one....and the one after that...and the one after that.... ^u^
