The series of tutorials that I did here were originally designed for a friend. Sometimes the wording might seem a little vague because it was designed custom for one person. But I figured I'd share them with you anyway. It might help people, afterall. I know many of you are curious.Related content

I love drawing profile portraits... there's just so much character in the side view of the face. ^_^ However, I have this tendency to make the profiles TOO "muzzle-like"... hmm, have to work on that.

That's ok. I've actually seen a lot of professional anime styles done in the same way. You see that a lot in some of the series anime. O.O So hey.. if they can get away with it, why can't you? ^_^ And they gey PAID!

There was a number 9 but most people don't need it so I didn't bother with it. It was more on geometrical mapping and using layers. It was sorta pointless.
I know the art on the tutorials isn't wonderful but it's not supposed to be. You're not supposed to be looking at them for the beauty but rather the technique. O.O That's all, really. ^_^; Yes, I feel the need to justify their ugliness.

lol you shouldn't really feel the need. I mean they're tutorials anyway plus they're better than some can do, myself included

You know what's oddly ironic, I could've used this tutorial monday, when I was trying to learn how to do side profiles.. but I know now o.O; I guess I can still get help from it. Anyway, quite helpful.

Awww.. I'm sorry. ;_; I guess I should've uploaded them earlier. They've been sitting around on my computer for forever and a day... about 5 months now or so.

It's okay. It still helped a little ^.^ and I do the same thing.. just... with good sketches, I end up deleting them (mostly anime ones) because I'll never finish.

I try not to delete things. It's good for me to go back and remind myself what all the practice has done for me. LOL. I know it sounds a little silly.. and most definitely a little masochistic for the ego... but still.

I know what you mean on that one... but it's shameful for me to look back at my old drawings.. When I do, I'm immediately extremely happy that I practiced.. it's just scary to me.
