Description
A 'fan commission' for ~Horn-AdamaTwo rangers. An Elemental powered armor with sword drawn, and a specops soldier with battle rifle leveled. They have each others backs , ready for the swarm that is about to fall on them.
Thanks to everyone that watched in the streams, keeping me company and providing valuable critiques. And another thanks to Horn for the commission, without it this nice piece of work wouldn't have happened.
Fluff - The Shield Sword is a basic shield based weapon that was devised during the early testing of the mysterious new technology. It allowed the test deployment of shields in a simple device that could be used without implants.
No longer commonly used due to the restriction of shield material and advancement of dynamic internal battle armor shields. It is now only seen ceremonially or among a select few who have stuck to it's use, it still retains it's diversity as an easily deployed utility weapon. It can form a heat blade, defensive bubble or wall, and counter frequency fields and paths to better penetrate projectiles, or any other specialized form that is programmed in.

I very much like this piece. The dynamic and composition are well done and you have some great talent. I'm not too sure about the blade/taser though? The arc is too far past the blade and there is not enough detail past the hilt to make a lot of sense. It just leaves me confused.
Otherwise, I like the concept and I look forward to seeing more.

well not the combat style unless they did like a devil may cry but i think they could totally pull off the armor style i mean they did good with dead space and the new metal gear game where you play as raiden

if i could, i mean no disrepect, just insight as an artist, law enforcement agent and soldier. I love the instant brotherhood feeling however my one critique s that your spec ops soldier's weapon is not as befitting as his partner's weapons. I feel this makes the picturte kinda of lopsided as my eye is drawn to the upper left instead of wandering around the page.

I know what you mean, but I can't help too much that the Elemental armor is on a whole different level to conventional infantry. The technology and abilities set them apart. I've also spent more time developing it, so the spec ops may seem less interesting.

true true, the m14 EBR is pretty futruistic, or possibly an AA-12 shotgun.... Actually there was a shotgun that was in the prototype stage calle the SRM 1216 it was pretty ridiculous looking... anyways again amazed!!
