I expect what you make one reference to "hearth's warming eve" the historical foundation of Equestria, withouth Luna and Celestia is canon now. Personally I wish see your version of the founders.

I'd recommend it! I'm a real animation junkie to begin with, so I loved it for the art and stuff at first, but you get real attached to the characters.

Damn... I have never really given much credence to shipish Celestia/Discord, or for that matter a truly good Discord... until I found your comic. I may still be neutral about Discord but now I am willing to give a good Discord a chance. And maybe change a bit of my head canon.

My personal theory is that he ISN'T good. He is trying to steal Celestia's birthright of rulership from her ever since we see them as teens/adults. We shall see if that is actually what Shimmerpaw intends.

This is quite interesting. If Celestia is hiding from her parents they definatily know where she is now. It is nice to see all the different settlements on this page. I guess this is how they got their cutie marks and filled with this power when Discord tries to touch them again his had starts turning into stone again. I'm quite curious in seeing how this new development infuences the relationship between the two.

I like the heavy contrast between Discord's being shadowed by the light, and Celestia's shadows being eliminated entirely.

This doesn't make any sense at all to me, but then it's not my comic. Interesting take on things. (And Celestia help us if there's a set of elements out there for Discord.) Maybe he'd like, set up volcanism and plate tectonics or something.)
