So for a personal project I've been working on constructing a wooden deck box to hold all my various constructed and EDH decks. I wanted something for the cover, and after scouring the web I found a really awesome stained-glass design that featured all the colors of mana and the various guilds of Ravnica that represented the ten combinations. It was really fantastic, but even after mucking with the color settings I couldn't get it to etch cleanly on the laser engraver. So I had to recreate it from scratch in pure grayscale so that I could better control the output. This is definitely a riff off another person's art, so please, go check them out. No, but I'm not surprised. I originally used the colorized version as the basis for this one, which helped me make the grayscale version I used for the wood burning. I doubt the people printing the shirts have the rights to it, I've never been able to figure out who the original creator was.

You know, I am not sure how well it would etch scaled down, or whether I'd lose too much detail. The actual piece is eight inches in diameter. Will have to experiment a little.
