Yeah another one ;___; I had this percolating for a while and just got around to doing it all last night, which was a great awful idea. Despite having it basically scripted in my head before I started it still came out somewhat non-sequitor, sorry.
But yeah, same deal as before, feel free to use/ trace any of these drawings as refs or whatever you like! And ask questions if I forgot to put something in there (or if the stuff I asked is too hard, haha)

Great tutorial!! Feet are so tricky for me!! It's nice to see them broken down in an understandable way. I don't quite agree that people should ref how to draw boobs from guys though...I've only seen a handful of guys who actually draw accurate boobs. Most usually they make them sit unnaturally, and make them far too round, especially the big ones. X__X

Sure! For heels I find it way easier to just consider the foot a rectangle for the front view, with the pad of the foot (where the toes connect) to be the bottom of the rectangle. From the side you'd just increase the angle of the hypotenuse (if you consider a flat-on-the-ground foot to be a right triangle with the hypotenuse being the top of the foot).

Mostly, I'll put into my favourites gallery because:
1-Pirates with no feet need some love. Let's not be rude.
2-I agree, crocs are the worst shit ever created.
3-It's been a long time since I drew an entire body and I'm not sure if I still remember how to draw feet.
4- It's a cool tutorial. Pretty different from the rest but I guess that's why I preffer it over the rest

B-But I kinda like Crocs . . .
Not in public, tho, srs. I wear them when I'm taking my dogs out just 'cause I'm too lazy to slip on anything else.

That's an interesting way of drawing feet and how you can create them with using basic shapes such as using triangles.

What are the lumps at the back of the feet?
π: 0 β©: 1
shingworks In reply to 1o11y9o9 [2012-08-18 20:31:04 +0000 UTC]
Not sure which ones you mean... could be the heel (it varies in how much it extends back) or could be the parts of the ankle. On the very back of the foot there is also a tendon that shows up stronger in some people than in others (I can't see mine, for example), which also might be the lump you're looking at...

The entire internet is making me feel bad about wearing crocs, I mean hell they're hideous but they're comfy as fuck.

StarlitSkvader In reply to WightRabbits [2012-08-18 14:12:38 +0000 UTC]
Good news is, they now come in many styles - I have the fugly ones for work, but also found wedges and tennis shoes. All the comfort, none of the hideous.

I have never understood how to draw feet or use basic shapes to position them in a way I want them until now. Thank you so much for doing this! It's very helpful for those of us who want to learn how to draw every detail of the body correctly!
