really nice and helpfull tutorial, but i instantly noticed the wrong perspective of the rice bowl and the impossible way to hold the pensil (atleast my hands were'nt able to do it)

so as a lesser being who for some reason after drawing a good hand once in a while just to forget it like a goldfish the day after, i will pop in here once in a while to drink from the pot of gold you have made

This method is so much easier than how I learned to draw hands! The way I learned it involved a lot of unnecessary lines and circles and dots and complicated things and it took forever to just draw the outline, and then connecting everything to make an actual hand was a pain. Plus, when it came to put the hand on a person, it was almost impossible to tell how big the hand would be until I was done. I finally got to the point where I gave up with hands completely and came up with a whole bunch of creative(ly pathetic) ways to avoid drawing hands.
With this, however, I can draw a hand very easily, and I have a basic idea for how big the hand will be :] It'll probably take a while to perfect it and get it to a point where I can fit it in with my style, but I'll keep at it. I'm excited to be able to give my characters hands again xD

Man, I try to construct and tend to fail spectacularly. My art is in a huge state of shifting at the moment because I'm trying to not fail at anatomy. XD

Well, learn construction first, if you can! I didn't and it's adversely affected my art even until today D: It seems hard at first, but if you learn it, you can basically draw any style you want.

Oh, that's just stuff like... drawing circles and lines to sketch out proportions and volumes before doing the actual details when you are drawing the human figure. Those are the lighter lines in my tutorials. Even if you do a bunch of styles, the proportions tend to be recognizable! If you have those down then you can manipulate them to do whatever you want
