***Not sure why, but comments were disabled???Another one; I think generally I have the feel for the pen, but now need to work on getting familiar with more tools and brushes. I guess my version of Manga Studio (EX 4) does not have blending modes (apparently 5 has it) so that's a bit annoying, since I used them a ton in Gimp (my pen does not have pressure sensitivity in Gimp for whatever reason.) I do have a copy of Photoshop to install, so hopefully that works with my tablet/ pen without issue.
Anyways, drew some mercenaries (demon slayer specialists), a few mechs dropping out of an assault carrier, Hiro's Sauri-Jay Model 3 handgun, a wolf for shits and giggles (man I need to work on animals...) and lastly, a brief sketch of 8 Skies, Hiro's hometown.
Sorry this one is lighter/ sketchier than the first one. I wanted to see how line art might look the first time; on this one I just wanted to get more of a feel for things.

This might sound terribly dumb, but this drawing makes me feel like I need to practice drawing rocks....

Not at all! Actually I drew that part in a bit more detail, because I'm not confident in drawing natural scenes -specifically the ground. >_> Need to practice that kind of thing more.

Pretty cool, but only bottom half seems to be done by tablet.

Nope, the whole thing was -the top was just made using lighter, sketchier strokes. The whole thing was just sketching, but I went a little darker at the bottom.

Ah, this way. I see.
Personaly I still prefer to have sketches by traditional pen. Sketching in digital is much harder for me.

It is definitely a much different feeling sketching this way, but I like having the ability to draw right over the sketch with a lineart layer.
(When I draw traditionally, I erase so much that the paper can become rough, and the lineart is not very smooth.) Also, I like not having graphite smudges all over my hand!

What tablet do you use? I've been thinking of getting one. Trying to decide which I should get.

I got the Ugee 2150 tablet monitor, since I am used to looking down while drawing. It has excellent value, imho (Cintiq 22HD is similar in size, but three times as expensive.)
I have been really enjoying it so far.

If you have any questions about it just let me know! (Though I am probably not the best person to ask, since I am brand new using tablets. )

Alright, cool. I've been interested in getting a tablet to see how that goes for me. Also, Dream is excellent, keep it up!

So far I am loving it! I hope you enjoy it when you get the chance, too!
Also thank you, I will try to get back to work on it!
