A friend asked me how I do jewels in photoshop...So I did a quick tutorial to explain it to him...
So I thought I can post it here as well...
Don't bitch me please for low quality and stuff...
I did this in 20-30 minutes...
I hope you find it useful...

maybe it Will be removed to scraps later on cuz of lack of quality...

I do it differently...but my way it's way harder to explain...

Jewels are usually small details...so however you do them they look fine

do you just use the same base everytime and Ctrl+U -> Colorize it or use different colors?

Actually...it doesen't look real...real jewels and gems looks different...cuz in reality light brakes differently truoug them...
