i just recently saw this in computer arts. lol, now i know who the other member of dc was...because i remember it saying it was a collaboration of nullvoid and another depthCORE member. i love this...its so...strong. makes me remember the literature classes in school when we studied myths, but with added modern twist.

Maybe it's the shaddowing, but the way the metal transitions to the face is just brilliant. Really works! EVERYTHING in this is fantastic. the detail, the surrealism, the mood it creates. whoa.

When I first saw the small preview I jsut shrugged and thought 'so what? just a wierd head-dress'. I acted against firt impulse and looked closer. I was very glad I had. I think it's the struck expression that caught me, the effect of light and texture. A great representation of a goddess

The top eyelid looks really weird to me, i can appreciate how hard it would have been to blend that feature in but possibly ts too dark or the shape itself is offending my eye lol.
Also the top of the cylinders leaning forward on her crest thing.
At the very top of them i feel they should be uber shiney like the back set rather than fade out.
Just my $1.05
Hope you do well on print sales.

it is so rare to see somebody's work of something ancient yet so fresh and new.... to see that artist can feel the essence of god/ess not just to imitate the forms and stories of past civilisations.

Well then, before I fav this, I'll speak my mind...the detail on the helmet is wonderful, and the attention you gave to each of her "spikes" on it is great (they remind me of a lionfish, by the way). Armor fit for a god.
