as with most all of your designs, i love it. but i must agree that the color, or lack there of, is a bit bland to me. aside from that, i do dig it.

Believe it or not but this version is actually brighter and more colourful than the final approved image. Since it was meant to be a background it had to sit back a bit and not distract, I probably went overboard with the detail to be honest.
