Autism awareness has gone global; as many well-known cities across the world have shown, they accept the fact that autism is out there and is not to be treated like a disease. This awareness has even branched out onto the Island of Sodor, home of Thomas and his friends.

What makes this significant, you ask? Thomas has been a big hit with autistic audiences around the world, myself included. And to celebrate, Sir Topham Hatt has had Thomas, Annie and Clarabel repainted to show the colors of autism awareness and take part in an island-wide event to give families an experience they will never forget.
