alchemy sketch, taken into ps, rendered in greyscale, colour balanced, overlayed colour, and then texture dropped in for the bg and the armour.I've left in the artifacts from teh original alchemy sketch. i wasnt really going for something uber rendered or anything but this came out and im pretty happy with it. first major piece in a while

cheers man i think if i had of tightened the sketch and gotten rid of the initial sketch i probably would have ruined it. best i think if i keep it loose.

Exactly what my art teacher used to tell us - sometimes keeping the sketch looking loose has more of an impact than a highly finished piece!

above is the link for download. Have a look at some of the vids etc on the site and you'll get a better idea. Its like an initial drawing ideas program. No undos, has functions for random drawing shapes, you can use a microphone to for extra randomness... heres a couple of examples from me:

hah alchemy is only the beggining mate. It gives you ideas etc but its more the painting in PS.
