Description
One of the illustrations I've drawn for my final thesis (aka Maturarbeit). Its title is "Die Geschichte eines Schatzfundes" (The History of a Treasure).The character was designed solely for the thesis.
"Sorbus" is a tree called rowan in english. The end of my short story is inspired by Ovid's "Pyramus and Thisbe" where the white berries of a tree turn red. The tree in Ovid wasn't a rowan however but a mulberry tree.

I actually used a reference photo for the smoke. Huge fires in buildings cause such dark smoke. This isn't just a campfire. uvu
Pyramus and Thisbe wasn't my favorite of Ovid. But Ovid surely is one of the Roman writes I like most. <:
