Description
This took quite a bit of time to paint. I work in large canvases, usually at 30x40 inches at 150 dpi, or 30x50 depending on how long the scene is. So yeah, it took a while to fill it all in. (well the majority at least)Anyway not much really to explain about the piece. Its a far off nebula deep within space, and I kinda propped up a camera and took a shot.
Enjoy!

Yet again, another masterpiece. I have always enjoyed the lighting and depth of your works, and this is no exception. I have noticed that you employ planets in the foreground, and not so much in the background. Perhaps you might think about adding an extra planet a little more on the far side of the light source so that more of the planet is visable?
Just a thought, and once again, very nicely done

wooha... It's the second or third time I am watching this pic, but tell me one thing: from your comment I understood that this is completely 2D or am I mistaking?

Jeeesus! Filters, textures or everything by hand? What about your other pics - some of them are obviously 3D aren't they?

I dont use filters that much. If anything its just the spherize, blur, or some distort. But thats it for filters. I use quite a bit of textures, but alot of it is painted. Its just a mis mash of everything combined.

anywho, did you know they came out with a new photoshop, it's cs "8.0" yeah in the filters menu there is thumb nails that let you see what ur pic will look like before you apply it, and you have a free view of all the appliable filters.
like i was sayin, dang you good!

Simply amazing. If you're not making money off of these masterpieces, you're doing something wrong. (And I dont mean about the paintings )
What I love the most is the attention to detail, the sheer amount of layers there boggles the mind.
BTW you twits, it's not a PAINTING painting, he said 150DPI You dont do DPI on a physical canvas

hiehiehie... i can see a face in the nebula clouds!!
uhm - the bottom planet's shadow from the light seems wrong... i'm not an expert, but shouldn't it be more like the bottom left planet... kinda triangle instead of straight?

I've always loved your work, but this time it's simply amazing.. The colors are breathtaking, the focus is unchallenged.. and it really feels like space.
The best details come from the fabulous use of lighting and shade, and the only thing I could really imagine changing would be the white border, because this could be toned down a bit as it seems to draw too much attention..
Xcellent Work!
