**sorry, another random update XD this picture was also easy to take. now its been properly watermarked and such. also easier to view, somehow i didnt know it was that huge XD anyway, sorry if this is in ur devwatch again!this is a portrait of this was posted on his stock account a while ago. the picture isn't posted anymore, so sorry, i can't link it.
if ur gonna comment here and all ur gonna say is 'oh hes hot' or somethin like that, dont even bother commenting. i say advanced critique encouraged cuz i want real comments, menaing on the drawing, not just the subject. i didnt just draw him cuz hes uber hot or somethin, the picture looked challenging.
oh, and i didnt include the border agin cuz it wouldnt fit in my scanner, lol. that top part u see is part of the burning i did. i might try and scan on the school's scanner cuz its bigger

thank you for such a detailed comment! yes, i think the eye size is probably due to perspective. i hadnt thought of that before, lol. it did look about that size in the photo, so i wondered what i could have done wrong. i actually worked on just the eye for a very long time trying to get the angle to match and all

Hi shley, first I think your are an amazing artist and this piece is great!! I love the pose and think his expression is very life like. His hair seems to be so dark, kinda lacks contrast as does the eye area, I'm sure you folllowed the reference photo so this critique is of no use

the texture in the shirt is great. but the hair just looks to dark like it stands out to much.but if it had some texture it would look great. good job

i love how well u captured everything..the shading is amzing along with the detail on the hair...and that eye! the way you drew it just makes a person wants to stare at it....you have some real talent...ehehe i've told you about your drawing..but its better if i keep the thoughts if the 'subject' to myself

Wow, it's hard to critique this, for me. I mean you have such detail in it already, it looks like a photo. You did an amazing job, and I'm not much of an artist to point out flaws. Wonderfully done.

Amazing. From the small view it looks like an actual photo but looking at it up close you can see the fine pencil detail that you put into it. It's nothing less than awe inspiring. How long did this take you to draw? And also what kind (or kinds) of pencil did you use?

I see. Well it really shows that you put some time into it. Your shading and highlights are flawless as far as I can tell. Do you shade with your fingers or that rolled up paper thing (>.< can't remember what it's called right now) or what? And I bet that smooth bristol paper helps a bit with the shading and such huh? Man...I wish I could get some really nice paper and pencils...but unfortunately I can only work with what I have. >.< Damn my broke ass...I need a job. lol

wow this is an amazing job (and i have to say "ooh he's so hott!!! heh cuz he is) and i'd agree with what the person said about that one eye...it does seem rather small and as if it's just hangin there like "yep...im here" instead of "wahh! im so pretty! look into me!!!" they way your eyes usually are lol. on the whole though i think you did an awesome job, and i can see why you chose this picture...too bad its not there anymore...*sigh* but ah well. your pictures usually are like photos anyway.

I've been watching Bionic for quite a while now, and I've always been a big fan of his photography...
To see someone with as much talent as you draw him is really awesome!! You did an amazing job!!

I don't normally comment, but I thought I would try to give you some constructive criticism.
His eye looks too small, as if it doesn't properly fill his socket.
The shading around his upper lip/nose region seems.. much harsher than the rest of the shading (as compared to his neck) and not so properly blended. And the nose looks like we're looking at it from the bottom, while the rest of the face looks more like an angled view, with his head tilted just slightly up.
Wish I could see the photo. heh..
I can see why this pose would be chosen, difficult angle on the face, the texturing of the shirt. I think you did an altogether splendid job.

now honestly- I really thought this was a photograph when I looked at it, as I'd not really noticed what kind of deviation this was... the fact that it's a drawing made gasp outloud. The shading...his hair...the textures...it's all so brilliantly done it just doens't seem possible...lol...I trully admire you! *bows down*

You must have so much patience. I am truly awed by how you manage to make pencil work look so realistic. The nose bugs me a little, but Im not sure why. Probably just the angle. Im always bothered by angles that let you look up a nose like that... But the texture of the sweater and the lips make up for it this time.
Im so jealous I could almost hate you for how well you render black and white pencil works, but little shading mistakes like the neck make me feel better cuz it means youre only human. lol.

Good to see your still pumping them out every once in a while! I really looked at this a lot, trying to find things wrong with it. The proportion is great, and although I can't vouch for it looking like the guy, judging by what I've seen you do before, I'm betting it looks like him. The only thing I can really see wrong with it, is that its a little rough. The shading could maybe be a little smoother. How you do that with charcoal, is beyond me..I'll leave it up to you. Anyways, great work!
