Even when the day is young, sometimes, there’s hardly a better thing to do than whip out the gaming system and play a fun video game! In recent years, multiple Jackbox Party packs have been released on multiple platforms and even as PC games! Having more than 5 sets of subgames at this point, these are just the kind of games to get a group of people to have a good laugh with! Usually, up to at least eight people can play these games, and with the right electronics and arrangements, this can even be done online! Similar to Kahoot, you’ll need your own secondary device, whether it be a phone or laptop or something of the like that can access the internet. Once the game is decided on the big screen, you’ll need to go to the appropriate site and input the code in as well as what you want to be called during gameplay, and voila!
One such game that can be played together is Quiplash 2, the sequel to the already hilarious Quiplash! In this game, each player gets two prompts per round for the first two rounds, having 75 seconds to jot down whatever response they want to use as an answer. Once everyone has submitted their responses (or time has run out), the battle of jokes begins! Responses are thrown into the fray against one another. When it’s not your turn, it’s up to you to pick whose response to a prompt was funnier. More votes for your response means more points, and when you’re playing with many people and manage to score everyone’s cheer, you’ll get a Quiplash bonus! In the final round however, everyone gets the same prompt to respond to in a final gambit to earn some points for first place!
And you don’t need to worry if there’s more than eight of you! Players who aren’t part of the main eight will be a part of the audience and can join anytime! They can add their own votes to help you out, an extra buff to your jokes!
