Wow. I'm impressed that they developed an upgraded variant to the U-Wing transport from Rogue One, but to be honest though it looks like the VF-1 Valkyrie from Macross. I mean looks at it, do you see the resemblance to it and the jet From Macross? I really like the design though. I bet there might be a transport variant of this also, The New Republic and The Resistance could use those starfighters against the First Order. And I bet their newly built Tie Fighters won't stand any chance against the new U-wing Starfighters. I like it very much, They would be unstoppable.

To be fair, swing-wings aren't terribly sophisticated. If you look at real world aircraft such as the F-14 Tomcat and the B-1B Lancer, or even the MIG-23, it's pretty much the same basic shape and function. VF-1 Valkyrie from Macross essentially has the same wing design, but that's pretty much the only similarity that I see. And as Colourbrand's design, I honestly prefer these to Rogue One's U-Wing, where the wings are ridiculously long when in the forward positionΒ and would probably cause line of sight problems to the crews that operate it (but it's fiction, so whatever). But in general, I like this design and suits its role well.

Yer right about the Valkyrie look - it was not intentional - and when I put the red on it....welll I was f/ked....
But thank you for taking the time to do a critique of this sir, and your kind wordsΒ - always be honest

Eight passangers is by far not enought for large millitary force like the GAR (if it is still called that way). It could however be used by some kind of special forces.

It pretty much is used by Republic SpecForces, rather than a mass movement transport. The U-Wing from Rogue One also only ferried eight passengers.

Β like I said this is a pretty great vehicle and everything it reminds me of the Macross Robotech jet fighters the Valkyries but it also has a real-world look to some of the jet fighters that the Air Force and Navy use but I'm curious is this a standard Starfighter or is it by any chance replacing the a-wing Starfighter cuz it looks pretty fast and seeing it's rather sizable is it perhaps a mini bomber

Are you going to redesign this into all of your other creations? Just curious

That looks surprisingly similar to theΒ dual-form pilot-assisted combat robot/jet fighterΒ "Mecha/Jet Tangu", from Red Alert 3.

The design of this fighter looks a lot like the Tengu mid transformation, mainly the wings and engines on the back.

This looks like the New Republic version of the U-wing. Maybe we might see it, or something similar in Star Wars Episode VIII. It looks amazing.

Why dose it look like you turned a Macross Valkyrie into an X-wing fighter?

Looks like something from Macross and Robotech. Β It is quite good. Β It looks like they can do dog fights and air support rolls. Β
