So, here you go! This goes up the point I am with the drawing right now.My scanner is acting funny so I had to take photos for the images. Because of that, they aren't great.

I found your Ezio pictures, and it actually influenced me to draw a couple shirtless guys of my own from the Star Wars franchise I haven't posted them yet, but this was basically how I was drawing while using way too many of your poses as reference pictures.

Hehehe, well I'm glad I could help inspire you.
I'm half ashamed of the size of my reference picture folder.

That's so cool! I've never been able to do step by steps but it's very informative and interesting to see how it's done

Funny thing is that a few years back, I could but I find that it's faster to do it with a reference and then modify for the effect I want. I may go back to reteaching myself referenceless images when I have more time . . . SIGH. Time.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately, my images for part two disappeared. However, I'm working on a different tutorial which covers drawing the face and shading tips.

Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted my reference shots for this. Not one of my brightest moves.
I'll be doing a different tutorial shortly which involves shading however. I've finished the drawing itself and just have to put the tutorial together.

I love your WIP sketches! They're so beautiful, and you lines are so clean. <3
Make more of these for other pictures? *continues harassment* I'd love to see the process you go through and how it changes throughout.

Well, what can I say, I do like to see how other people do their artworks. I had much to learn this way, as long as I never followed a school for this. Frankly I think I'll never stop learning, but this makes it even more interesting, knowing there will always be something new to see and to learn.

ShonnaTheWhite In reply to NoBuddy-else [2010-06-17 19:35:14 +0000 UTC]
Never stopping learning is a good idea. I'm always trying to learn new things but because the way my brain functions, unless its how to use software, I have to figure it out for myself and practise. Someone can show me how to draw but it won't change a thing really!
That being said, figuring out proportions was taught and stuck.
Otherwise, art How To's are useless to me.

NoBuddy-else In reply to ShonnaTheWhite [2010-06-18 08:21:48 +0000 UTC]
Well, I too have to figure it out for myself in the end, but still seeing others at work gives me sometimes ideas on new techniques to try. Who knows, some of them might prove to be more fit for me than the one(s) I use now.

mostly in the abs area. the six packs i draw always end up looking like six boxes XD and it makes me sad every time. The way you draw it makes me wonder why i tried drawing it the way i did lol

Hehehe, yeah, reference pictures are handy for that. Most people draw them a lot more square than they are (on most guys at least).

WOOHOO!!! *glomps* thank you thank you for the tutorial!
and I use references of anatomy and poses most of the time myself, actually. o.O all poses have been done before, and so I google the images, find the best one to use as reference, and draw away.
