a Commission for Maverikat, here we have the character Zecora. not sure what she is, a sorceress, a voodoo queen, an enchantress? I like her design tho. kind of looks like old school Storm from Xmen. I liked to keep the Mohawk look and wanted keep it in the pic.the colors came out nice but the drawing took three attempts to get it to how i liked it.

She's kinda like one of those witch doctors, brewing up magic potions and such.
And she speaks in rhyme every single time.

Zecora is zebra who lives at the edge of Everfree Forest, inicially the citizens of Ponyville was fearful due to her peculiar nature of brewing potions, speaking in rhymes, and delivering warnings of the Everfree Forest. After an incident with the poison joke (watch ep. 9, you'll love it) Zecora was the only one who's able to the make the cure. Eventually she became an accepted part of the community and go-to pony for health and potion making.
