Here is another one of the male characters from the show called Discord. Bad Guy I assume. the references I got for this character were of Q from Star Trek. I was instructed to give him the Q outfit but slightly modified to look more original. I was also told to put random objects on bubbles to make it look more odd. What exactly is this guy? a dragon? griffin? he reminds me of Pantyhose Taro from Ranma 1/2.....weird.this one took a little time to draw also but the colors came out great.

Discord is a draconequus, a chimeric creature with a penchant for chaos, and trolling. He is like Q, but malicious, and is adored by most of the fandom because he is a gigantic troll, but unlike Nightmare Moon, who was beaten relatively easily, Discord is a VERY rea threat since he can hypnotize ponies with ease, completly warp reality with no regards for physics and sense, is completely mad and can even brainwash ponies with a poke. And he can switch from sinister to silly at the flip of a switch. He seems to adore mind games.

Discord is the spirit of chaos and disharmony. As for what he is, he's a draconequus. It's like a dragon chimera only with one of any one animal part for a limb.
I think you did a really good job drawing him. I also like that he hasΒ Q's robes from Star Trek, that's awesome!

The costume is a nice touch, since John DeLancie plays both characters and they have a lot in common: Both Q and Discord are dickish reality warpers who use their powers to mess with others for their own amusement, but they eventually become allies of the main characters.
Of course, now I wanna see this humanized Discord in a variety of silly outfits, like the butler and granny costumes from "Keep Calm and Flutter On", and maybe a bathrobe and bunny slippers for when he catches the "blue flu" in "Three's a Crowd".

He was a bad guy at first but later on in (I believe season 2) FlutterShy "reformed" him. Now he's kinda a good guy but mostly a dick, but that makes him even funnier in my eyes. X)

Honestly, I'm not big on this one. Its not bad, but I don't think it fits Discord very well. I'd like to see a Cadence, though

With an amalgam of objects that would show his reference...let's see...the First Doctor's Ring, the Third Doctor's Tattoo, the Fourth Doctor's Scarf, the Second Doctor's Recorder, the Fifth Doctor's Stick of Celery, the Ninth's ears, the Tenth's glasses and shoes, and the Eleventh's Fez and Bowtie.

And yes, he started as a villain, but now he's an ally, even if still a mischievous and sometimes malicious one. Also, his voice actor is the same one who played Q.

Discord is technically refered to as a "Draconequus" (a combination of the Latin words for "dragon" and "horse") and as the "spirit of chaos," though it's easier and probably more accurate to think of him as some manner of trickster god. Β Basically, he's voiced by John di Lancie (who of course played Q in "Star Trek: the Next Generation") and he ruled Equestria a couple millenia ago and used his immense power (which probably exceeds Princess Celestia's) to transform the realm in his own image (and the dude has a pretty twisted image, what with being made from at least a dozen different kinds of animals and all that). Β Long story short, he's the primary antagonist of the Season Two premiere "Return of Harmony" and if you end up liking him, he shows up again in seasons 3 and 4. Β He also happens to be quite fond of Chocolate Rain (yes, I'm serious). Β
Also, nice touch with making Derpy's head one of the random objects inside those bubbles. Β

Your design presents him more as directly evil or wanting control, when Discord himself is more about ego-centric mischief.
Whereas Q was ego-centric control. Feigned control anyway.Β

Up until season 3 he was a villain who came close to defeating the Mane 6. Now he's Fluttershy's friend and is mostly good now.Β
