Here is my contribution to the whole Pirates vs Ninja fad that is going on...It looks like Kasumi and Mai just can't seem to figure out why Ninja are far superior to Pirates and explaining that to their friend May...
Can you give the two girls a good reason why Ninja have the upper hand over Pirate?

ninjas are better merely because of their cunning and cleverness and intellect, whereas pirates need a captain, co-captain, head advisor, ect. ninjas only take advice from those truly superior. NOT the guy who drank 12 kegs b4 passin' out.

Before, I only recognized Kasumi and was kinda-sorta familiar with Mai. Years have passed since I've seen this and I've played DOA, KOF and GG to understand who the hell these girls are.
My answer to this is... if you replaced Kasumi with Ayane, then I'd HAVE to go ninja (although I don't quite care for Mai either and Kasumi IS a Mary Sue...) but May is there... and I like her more than these two combined XD

most of the doa girls are mary sues other then the previously mentioned Ayane(who has a personality back story flaws ect also the ONLY female in DOA4 to have an ACTUAL ENDING)
