Here is my contribution to the whole Pirates vs Ninja fad that is going on...It looks like Kasumi and Mai just can't seem to figure out why Ninja are far superior to Pirates and explaining that to their friend May...
Can you give the two girls a good reason why Ninja have the upper hand over Pirate?

well my intention wasn’t to win just provide an argument for the other side. in fact if you'll notice some of my other comments they provide arguments for both sides. (some points that are realistic others that are fictional)

At the moment, ninjas.
However... Comparing anime ninjas and anime pirates is kinda not fair, just like real life ninjas and real life pirates. Anime ninjas will always own anime pirates, and real life pirates will always own real life ninjas. Now anime ninjas vs. real life pirates. THERE'S the conflict, cause both are so awesome.
Although... Vikings and rangers own them both.

And they're the only "true" pirates in anime. Outer space doesn't count, so Ryoko and all the other space pirates are disqualified by default. So other than the One Piece characters, anime ninjas hold the field.
Whereas with real pirates vs. real ninjas, an infiltration mission on the part of the ninja to the pirates' ship has a greater chance of failure than success if they try to fit in, as they would in a village on the mainland. Seeing as how most pirate crews in the 15th through 19th centuries were British, Spanish, or French, a Japanese man would stick out like a sore thumb, unless they were infiltrating the crew of a Japanese pirate ship, making sabotage the only real way to defeat the pirates, such as sneaking on and killing the guard, then poisoning the food and rum.
I still favor vikings and rangers, but recently, pirates have taken the lead over ninjas in my book.

Whereas a smart pirate captain, such as the real Blackbeard, would go and unleash the canons' full fury on the ninja's village after the plundering was over. Take some time to do some research on the real-life effects of canonfire. People have lost legs to canonballs that were just rolling along the ground after being fired, not to mention what happens to a person taking one square in the chest. All the stealth in the world won't save you if you're in the way when a canonball is flying at you.

it looks like you made a mistake there. ya see you thought i was on the ninja side. if you take a look i have posted multiple comments. some of them suggest how ninja would win others suggest how pirates would win. perhaps it is you who should do the research me hearty

Not really. The only thing I'm guilty of is mistaking you for a ninja supporter, like you say. I knows about pirates. I knows about a lot of things. It's you I don't know.

well it all depends on who the ninja is and who teh pirate is , i loved the ninja turtles. master splinter could kick the crap out of jack sparrow any day. man id love to see that.

Both pirates and ninjas get booty and chests, but ninjas do it at all the time... in the deep hours of the night, or in the heat of the day...
Ninjas also possess an amazing versatility. They are the ultimate cosplayers, are capable of taking any role you please, do it while invisible, and, like rogues, regularly do it from behind! 
Mostly though, ninjas have better outfits. Always. I also suggest that Mai and Kasumi look in a mirror. They will find that their chests and booty are far superior to those possessed by pirates!
