Wow, I like this a lot. Does flash work similar to illustrator? Cuz I'd LOVE to do some vector-art but I'm kinda stuck and can't figure out how to do make things look the way I want them to, meh...

I tried working in illustrator, but quickly gave it up. I think it must be similar to flash, but I find flash a lot easier to work in,- only it doesnΒ΄t have brushes and such. A lot of the time I draw in flash and colour the drawing in photoshop!

Is doing vector art very different from "traditional" digital drawing/ painting? I mean, do yu think it is possible to learn this art without professional education?

Sorry for the delay in me answering you! I donΒ΄t do digital drawings or paintings in other programmes, really...other than using photoshop for various things. I tried learning Illustrator, but quickly realized that Flash was simpler, thus more suited for me
Also, I knew how to animate in flash before I started using it as a drawing tool. Flash is very `intuitiveΒ΄, I donΒ΄t think it would be a problem for you!

Hm, I should try to use it then. Some purposes (t-shirt design etc.) simply require vector graphics. And I'd so love to do t-shirts...

I really like the way this came out! The softness of the shading around the eye, he delicate hands. I really like how her black hair blends into the black of the background. That whole negative space thing is fun to play with.
