i wanted to do something for children. something cute and friendly,-but instead it just ended up looking bizarre!iΒ΄m not too sure about it. maybe the whole thing is too messy?
the characters were done in ink, coloured in photoshop. the background was done in flash and photoshop.
the characters are from "The Wizard of OZ".

I love your style here! I have never seen a picture from The Wizard of Oz that didn't feature Dorothy, and that must be why this one stands out from any other. Great job!

well after scrolling and scrolling i finally made it down here to comment..cool work. im liking your style. i can tell the first had something to do with shag but it seems like you are breaking out of that...this one doesnt remind me of anyones work. well done.

trippy- a good exercise would be to come up with various guises for each character

I think it has a childlike charm to it..I like the fact its in black and white staying faithful to the movie

I'm a big fan of that too I love seeing films that have been painted ..more vivid than reality thats just one of The Reasons I love Micheal Powells movies ..no one on earth can can up with colours like his films ..for example The Red Shoes or The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp..
