Lame title is lame, and why it looks crocky is that it's a photo.... still no scanner here -.-Well, this is just a small comic showing my reactions to Dante's new design, and comparing my thoughts on the older ones. ~Ixbran suggested that I'd draw this after he showed me the new Dante, because that was my reaction XD
Not that I'd think the new game will suck, just that I don't like Dante's new design, but I've found myself quite curious to this reboot of the series, but what annoys me the most is that he SMOKES! Though I find fictional smoking really cool, Dante doesn't smoke. He never has and never would either.
Can anyone guess whom is my fav Dante? : D

i am with you on this one Dante was my role model growning up and now he's smoking my urge to imitate that is overwhelming but smoking is so expensive and i am asthmatic but thats beside the point.

Well, don't XD the REAL Dante has never smoked a cigarette in all his life. His creator Hideki Kayima said that he wanted Dante to be non-smoker, 'cuz he thought it was more cool to not smoke than smoke.

(And yeah, Dante in DMC4 looked the best, imho)
I also watched the new trailer and...this guy looks like a psychological wreck...only the transforming weapon is great.
(Btw, smoking is bad, but if Dante does it, it looks kinda cool :3 )

(Well, the thing is, Dante DOESN'T smoke, it has been stated many times and in the novellas that he doesn't like smoking. And because his creator things it's cooler to not smoke)

What I've read it's a reboot of the series. Just a fresh start to gather more Western gamers, don't ask why 'cuz the game is well beloved here. And Dante is one of the most popular characters.

I went into fangirl mode when I heard of an official trailer for DMC5...DmC. I watched it , but after hearing him say he's Dante, I was...I don't know how to describe my reaction. Especially when I learned that it was a reboot.

I can imagine your reaction, it must have been akin to what I felt and people around me. It's pretty shocking to have a reboot, but also, I'm rather curious about it, just to see what they can do with it, even though I really don't like the 'new Dante'

Well they just ruined one of my fav games i dint know till know there were already making dmc 5 (i am really lost at games lately) but now im still in sock i preferred if they gave us more about vergil but what they did is just i don't like it.
btw it was a very nice comic
