Lame title is lame, and why it looks crocky is that it's a photo.... still no scanner here -.-Well, this is just a small comic showing my reactions to Dante's new design, and comparing my thoughts on the older ones. ~Ixbran suggested that I'd draw this after he showed me the new Dante, because that was my reaction XD
Not that I'd think the new game will suck, just that I don't like Dante's new design, but I've found myself quite curious to this reboot of the series, but what annoys me the most is that he SMOKES! Though I find fictional smoking really cool, Dante doesn't smoke. He never has and never would either.
Can anyone guess whom is my fav Dante? : D

The game's design otherwise seems really cool and the atmosphere, but not Dante. That's not Dante.

I like the old dante better, when I saw the new-ish version of him, i thought"...ew, hes old and annerexic looking..." why did they have too mess up a good thing!?!

but omg. about the smoking thing. If you look up Devil May Cry on Wikipedia, it says that Hideki (Dante's creator) ORIGINALLY CREATED DANTE NOT TO SMOKE, HE SAW THAT AS SOMETHING "COOLER". Which in my opinion it totally is <3

I know, that's why I'm against the new one smoking, sure, you CAN reboot a character, but PLEASE KEEP THEM IC! And for Dante to smoke is VERY OOC. And he mentions it in the novel as well, that he doesn't like to pollute his lungs.

I really don't like this new Dante (well I guess nobody likes XD), he looks like a drug addicted....and I really hope Capcom listen to us and bring our old Dante back.

In my personal point of view, fangirls are an important target consumer group, not just fanboys. Obviously the people at Ninja Theory have no idea who to appeal to other than themselves.
