"Yup."

"And his name is..."

"Rajesh Kakkar."

"Who's he riding?"

"Horse's name is Crowjax. He loves that horse-- to my understanding, he's going with him wherever he goes."

"So in the process of hiring him..."

"We'd also be buying the horse, yeah."

Richard sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Lisa, I get that you're still in cahoots with my brother, but--"

"I'm really not, Rich," Lisa interrupted. "I would be looking at this horse for either the stables or for me regardless of whether Al got fired or not."

"And the boy?"

"Rajesh is experienced with horses. Look at how he's tucking up with the horse's feet over those jumps-- flawless. His hands aren't moving either. Look at it this way... I would trust him with taking care of or riding any of mine," she said seriously, resting her hands on her hips.

"... I don't know..."

"You said once you trusted my judgment. Do you still?"

He sighed again and was quiet for a few minutes, watching the golden horse and the dark-skinned boy up on his back finish their run and trot out of the arena, both breathing heavily and one grinning. "... How many disciplines can he ride?"

"He's best with hunter and cross, and knows how to work a horse and how much energy they can burn. He used to work at a racing barn over in Kentucky. He's fairly adept with dressage up to almost level three. He can ride Western, but it's not his favorite."

"Good thing most of the horses ride English, then," Richard said, crossing his arms. "I want to talk with him first, though."

"I'd expect nothing less."

Along the lines of two for the price of one, this is not only an arrival picture, but a show entry as well, just to get this boy started off well.

Horse: GV Crowjax

I've been eyeing Crowjax for... oh, about a year and a half. The funny thing is that he's the grandfather of a precious boy of mine: shot-fired.deviantart.com/art/…
... But that's not the only reason I was after him. It helps that he's gorgeous.

But for the... now-sixty horses we have at GV, we have another handler, and he's a cutie.

I tried with the jump, and while I got the perspective right enough to be content, it's not my best jump and I know it. Far from it. I'm pleased with Crowjax's head, though, and I tried to get the bridle and bit the same as it was in his last profile.

His new profile will be up within the week.
