...I know, I'm sorry... But I feel like things can't always be happy and cute, because stuff like this happens in real life all the time. You just have to find the strength to move forward anyway, and then you can also enjoy all the happy moments of life. But drawing this was still pretty tough, I admit. (actually posting it was even harder, my heart was beating so fast back then, haha)

Indeed. Life can be cruel sometimes. The way you depicted it and how you have Chloe deal with it was done very well.
I can empathize with the feeling. While I haven't done it myself, there was a time during the development of the plot for my mission 8 where I was considering killing off a character. But doing that would have ruined my plans for other things I wanted to do. I wonder if I should tell you who this particular character was... (aka, ask and I'll tell you (because it wouldn't be spoilers anymore as I decided not to do it)).

Yeah... He was really overconfident in his fighting skills, and honestly didn't even consider something like this would happen. He really should have been more careful. In a world with fierce predators like this, grass Pokemon can probably never be too careful. :<
