Description The Lunar eclipse last night here on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It was a VERY cloudy night which ruined my idea of having a full start to finish of the eclipse but this is what I ended up with. This is my first ever attempt at a lunar eclipse.

The first moon was taken at 10:30pm.
The second moon was taken at 11:20 pm
The third moon was taken at 12:00 am
The last moon was taken at 1:15am.

I used photoshop CS5 to stitch the photos together and added a small amount of contrast/brightness.

Equipment:
Pentax x90
Tripod
Photoshop CS5
Patience

It was about 4pm here when this was happening, but ofcourse it was raining. I always miss this kind of thing because of the weather D:
But I'm glad I can at least see photos of the eclipse. Thank you ♥

Where I live we were supposed to see it around 6:00 AM, and the moon would set partially covered, but clouds came up and I couldn't see it

That lunar eclipse happened on the night of my first date. I didn't even know it was that night, but it felt really special after that. Such a clear night, too, where I live.

I could see it from my bedroom window ^_^
I live in a different part of Australia and it started at about 9:30 for us, and was fully orange\red and about 11ish

A ruddy brilliant capture I would say. I tried t capture some of the moon last night with my camera. I was able to capture darkness. Please, can you tell me which lens do you use? Great work. Oh yes. Thumbs up.

I saw the lunar eclipse, but the moon wasn't red here in Sweden. It was snowwhite instead, and shone just like the sun
But I missed it when the moon went completely dark

That's beautiful, the images are so clear. I don't have a nice proper camera, so my moon pictures just look like glowing orbs xD But this is amazing, I look at this and get all dreamy <3

Because it between 4:46am and 6am where I am at, I only was able to see maybe about 30 minutes into it before passing out. what i saw looked like the second picture before falling asleep. Regretful for not seeing its entirety, at least i saw some of it. So all in all, not so bad....I suppose.[link]
