Description Here's the full rendered size of my favorite promo from this set, showing off its unisex functionality as well as the post prop and poses.  It can be bought here:

The dragon is of course the old reliable Subdragon released with DAZ Studio and with Hellfish/Dariofish's very nice black textures.  Both Genesis 2 characters have RawArt's Princess Ali skin and Valea's Dream Hair and are wearing loincloths by me; the set is FlipMode's Top of the World.

This was rendered in DAZ Studio 4.6 Pro with Advanced Ambient plus DS's default Distant and Spot lights.  This combo is unbeatable when it comes to fast, decent rendering in DAZ Studio's 3Delight engine.

It's not part of a larger canon, but what I was thinking at the time was more or less:

The pale elves of the village at the base of the mountain are a superstitious folk.  Each year they offer a sacrifice to the Beast of the Mountain, who to them represents the power of Nature and ensures that the spring rains will return and the crops will grow.

Two sacrifices are selected by lottery, always one male and one female, then taken to the peak by an honor guard and tied to the posts that have been there for hundreds of years (occasionally replaced when the Beast bites one in half).  They must be adults, and they must have already engendered or given birth to children, who will be cared for with the greatest honor by their extended families.

Since the villagers began carrying out the sacrifice, the Beast forbears to attack their livestock and children.  The wiser among them believe the creature is often asleep, like the Earth itself in winter.  The sacrifices go willingly, and though their last moments are filled with terror, they know that they have ensured the safety and prosperity of their children and families for another season.

Ah yes. This story seems familiar to me Isn't it something similar in Beowulf? They also work it into the Alien vs. Predator movies

It's an idea that is going to recur.  Human sacrifice was a regular feature of cultures all over the world for centuries.

Yes yes of course. The Aztecs loved a bit of it if I remember correctly. But I was talking about in fiction too

So sorry, but it looks not real...
In the any, it's just a prop, so it can't totally fit the model, right? Then there may some 'weird' points when you see the 'tied up thing' in all angles?!
Ah, sorry again, I didn't buy the product, so I can't try... Just my thinking.

Ah, so sorry for the... impolite comment (I think so) that I've made.
Maybe I'm newbie, still not buy "Tied Up" so I didn't understand your product...
But can you give a short-video or photo to guide me how to use this product?
I'm thinking about buying one (for some 'silly' scenes)!
If this is so silly or impolite request, please forgive me...

It's a stylized render.  It's not trying to look like a photograph.

As for it being "just a prop" - Every rope piece has morphs that can change the shape and fit.  There is no angle and no character it can't work on if they are still humanoid (on some big monsters, like Hyde, the muscle shapes won't work well).

In fact, that's why in this render it is on a male and a female.  Her limbs are smaller and her torso is differently shaped, but it fits them both because of the morph dials.

Does it work with Genesis too?

It isn't a "genesis 1 product," but if you're willing to autofit the separate wrist/ankle and gag bits and adjust the props to your individual characters, you bet.

I am soooo hoping for a nice new dragon figure to come out soon. One with a HD mesh would be great. Seriously, as much as I love this old guy, he looks really "old" compared to the genesis figures here.  Your characters look so wonderful and the dragon looks so plain compared to them. Good thing he has the DarioFish textures which make it look a lot better than it does originally.

Wonderful promo still, the dragon thing is not your fault. I like the point of view. My favorite promo is the pirate one btw... because of the face expressions.

Why, thank you!   I had fun making all of these, and that one too.  Although I'm kind of surprised no one has complained about how abandoned the pirate ship is.  LOL
