Biggest heist ever: 7 giant diamonds stolen....To model the diamond, I scaled the mesh.
After exporting to the renderer I realized, each diamond has a diameter of about 30 meters ( 100 ft. ).
Modeled with cinema 4D
rendered with Maxwell 1.7
Used sientific IOR file for this.
Did anybody know that the scientific term for diamond is "cubic carbon"?
Rendertime: Long... (sample level 24 but still a little bit grainy)
10 hours with Intel i7.

I like that difraction on the diamonds!
In mentalray it is difficult (for me) to render such nice diffraction

Maxwell has no AA settings.
