I started seeing halloween stuff at the stores this week and it really got me in the mood. I did this piece for fun but it will be used for an upcoming Halloween-themed art showcase.Related content

My daughter's Birthday is on the 3rd along with my wedding anniversary. It is great to be able to celebrate birthdays with creepy party decorations.

Rad...How are you blurring out your background ellements?..I've tried but it often blurs the stuff i want in focus as well...Help?

I usually make another layer of the same piece right above the original. Then I blur that new layer and then erase all the parts you don't want blur on where you can see the original piece underneath. Pretty simple really.

I put it up on my website store for sale as a big-ass poster. It is movie-poster sized and the colors are really rich on good paper. These are the best things for only $20. I wish I could just give them away but I am not in control.

Thanks! I used to really, really suck at color and hated using it. Then one day it just sort of clicked and now it is one of my favorite parts to do when illustrating. That is the best kind of compliment for me, thank you.
